Job Description

Day care teacher will be responsible for the daily care of children and plan developmentally appropriate activities. They should also maintain regular observation and developmental records for each child and maintain daily communication with parents concerning their child’s behaviour and development. Plan engaging activities for children and should know how to appropriately discipline children if they misbehave. This would mean Organizing learning resources to achieve children engagement by conducting craft activities, table games, indoor and outdoor games, reading stories and managing classrooms
Observations: The Teacher is responsible for watching and evaluating the children in her classroom to ensure they are properly progressing.
Classroom Control: Each daycare teacher is in charge of her own classroom, including decorating, updating bulletin boards, and keeping it clean and organized. Participating in planning and organizing daycare events and updates in parent -teacher meetings
Candidate Requirements
XII /Preferably Graduate and ECCE trained
Good Communication – verbal and written, Self-motivated, Observational skills, Alert, Creative, Learners, Must like Children, Patience
