As an Instructional Design Manager, you will be managing the overall content development assignments and mentoring the instructional design team.
Primary responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with a team of instructional designers and mentoring them in designing and developing engaging and compelling learning content that engages learners and aligns with identified outcomes
• Ensuring timely completion of deliverables
• Working with Anthologyxe2x80x99s SMEs and client POC to create and update learning programs
• Collaborating with University (client) SPOCs on Custom Content Development projects
• Project managing content remediation for clients
• Working with the cross-functional teams to scope requirements and objectives and deliver projects
• Working to ensure there are no language/technical errors or inconsistencies
• Working with subject matter experts to identify specific learning content development needs
• Analyzing and applying trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
• Developing exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
• Assisting Instructional Designers with creating supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc.), based on the project requirements
• Proactively communicating task and project status to internal and external stakeholders

The Candidate: Required skills/qualifications:

• 6-10 years of experience in Instructional Design
• Experienced in creating engaging learning content
• Demonstrated proficiency with SCORM, HTML5, & Web 2.0
• Ability to visualize instructional graphics for complex processes
• Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create process documents/manuals
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical/functional concepts and translate them into easily understandable learning programs
• Strong leadership, relationship management, and project management skills
• Demonstrated ability to quickly understand new & complex tools, technologies, and systems

Preferred skills/qualifications:

• Proficiency in at least three of the following tools:
  • Adobe Captivate
  • Techsmith Camtasia
  • Vyond
  • Articulate Storyline & Rise
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel)
• Experience in Blackboard Learn or any other LMS
