Reports to the Associate Director, Research & Analysis, India

As an Associate, Research & Analysis, you are responsible for:

To be accountable for credit assessment and risk assessment of C&IB portfolio accounts

To execute new customer deals that are in line with the bank risk appetite

To help the relationship managers in delivering business solutions to new and existing clients in a way that achieves customer satisfaction and drives the business growth agenda and priorities

You are required to ensure emphasis on maximisation of customer value and that a quality portfolio is maintained, in line with Group credit policy, including sound risk management.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

Proven years of experience in banking industry inclusive of Relationship Banking, Risk or other relevant experience

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field

Strong credit analytical and credit and risk assessment skills with ability to assess creditworthiness of complex businesses

Strong understanding of various products, financing structures, legal documentation, and portfolio management

Proven knowledge of cash flow lending, capital structure and security arrangements, and general understanding of the banking industry, global economics, and the local / global regulatory landscape

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including an ability to negotiate and influence outcomes with stakeholders across all levels
