CTC- 400,000- 600,000 lpa

• This role involves inbound/outbound calls (20- 30 calls/day).
  
• Candidates with no experience in finance/accounts/banking operations will not be considered for the role.

The Personal Loans /Consumer Cards assessment officer role is multi-dimensional, supporting the back office function for ANZ’s Australian Personal Loans /Consumer Cards Market. Whilst working, the Officer will be required to exercise their CAD to make credit decisions on applications for credit cards, limit increases and reinstatements. The role requires regular liaising with Assessor counterparts in Australia. The operational hours of the team are 12am- 6pm. As such, the incumbent must be flexible to work early shifts, as this may be subject to change depending on business requirements.

Your key priorities and responsibilities include:

• When applications are suitable for deviation or outside CAD, prepare recommendations to the Senior Officer/Manager based on available information and credit knowledge
• Where applicable and permitted as per guidelines call retail banking customers to seek additional information to enable credit decision process
• Work towards benchmark targets/metrics to ensure efficient operation and service delivery, these include Average Handling Time targets, productivity and quality metrics
• Provide a high level of customer service through inbound and outbound calls
• Other areas of cards should be viewed as internal customers, and officers need to take an active role in educating the various Cards Customer Services departments after identifying any Customer Experience gaps
• Take ownership of improvements/issues as directed by the Senior Officer and/or Manager
• Focus on team goals and actively collaborate with team members in achieving team goals as well as individual goals
• Work as a team to meet GOS/SLA’s, which may mean switching from back to front office duties (or vice versa) as required

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Attention to Detail & Quality
• Income Verification in Consumer cards/Personal loans (experience is a must)
• Sound knowledge of lending and credit policies – previous credit experience advantageous
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills
• Flexible with shifts (3:00 am- 5:00 am shifts)
