About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Wallstreet/Foreign Exchange Trade Processing(FXTP) Team- responsible for building STP solutions for Trade Life Cycle and interaction between FO and multiple Middle-Office/Back-office systems. An Analyst’s role within this team is to understand both the business and technology aspects of this domain and bring that knowledge together to deliver the best solution for a given problem or opportunity.

What will your day look like

As a Technical Business Analyst supporting FXTP within Markets Technology, your day will be varied and

Speaking with Front Office/Back-Office/Middle Office users and other consumers of the team’s services to gain a common understanding of their workflows and problems

Working with colleagues in your own squad as well as other squads to design & develop end to end solutions

Writing and refining requirements for new features and enhancements

Writing user guides, demonstrating application functionality to peers and end users

Gathering, analysing and presenting data to support data driven decisions

Keeping the appropriate controls and process documentation up to date throughout development and delivery to satisfy ANZ’s policies and global regulatory requirements

What will you bring?

Previous experience in a role equivalent to a Technical Business Analyst with strong ability to design and present solutions to businesses

Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years’ relevant industry experience

Experience in the Markets domain (Foreign Exchange preferred)

Deep domain and system knowledge to turn customer needs into business requirements and workable technology outcomes

Experience in understanding and translating client needs into strategic solutions

Highly experienced and understanding of working within an Agile delivery framework, and using the JIRA tool

Strong Business Analysis skills and demonstrable experience of working across multiple projects in parallel

Flexible approach to work and willing to support different functions within the team based upon demand

An appreciation and understanding of the global regulatory environment

A desire to continuously learn and share knowledge with others

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to work collaboratively to manage feedback, engage and communicate effectively with all stakeholders

Demonstrable experience and understanding of Agile development practices, Jira and Confluence and broad understanding of Ways of Working

Comfortable with SQL and Unix

Basic knowledge programing is a plus
