- To process purchase indents by requisitions by inviting quotations, preparing comparative statements and to assist executive/ seniors for finalizing orders.
- To prepare purchase orders and amendment and cancellation of purchase orders.
- To expedite purchase orders and follow-up on suppliers.
- To coordinate among stores/user departments and suppliers/seniors and purchase.
- To prepare correspondence relating to the purchase of materials with suppliers/departments.
- To compile, compute and tabulate the data for reports to be generated.
- To maintain records and files.
- To collect information on products and keep the superiors informed of the market trend.
- To coordinate with accounts and receiving section in settling payment to the suppliers.
- To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives
- To be aware of departments performance and objective.
- To carryout data collection/support in data collection.
- To adhere to the safety norms of hospital, follow both patient, and staff safety rules.
- To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superior.
