Key Responsibilities
With little supervision, provides support services to GIS customers for specific IT service or set of services. Adheres to service management processes and procedures to meet customer service level agreements and maintain customer satisfaction.
Carries out recommended updates to the service lifecycle including patching and point releases upgrades.
Configures IT systems and executes basic changes while following standard operating procedures and change/release management policies.
Drafts technical and end-user documentation for specific IT service or set of services.
Monitors specific IT service or set of services for availability and performance and reports anomalies through predefined process.

Has developed proficiency in a range of analytical processes or procedures to carry out assigned tasks

Specialized Knowledge :
Implementation of IT Storage Infrastructure ( SAN / NAS ), Based on EMC Xtremio,VMAX ,UNITY ,ISILON Storages / Netapp’s All Flash , FAS model storages / Networker / Public Cloud Such as AWS / Azure / Google Cloud etc.
Design and implement SAN Fabric solutions using Cisco and Brocade Director class switches at Applied Materials Datacenters Globally.
Design and Leading Replication Solutions such as Recoverpoint replication, Netapp snapmirror and Storage native replication tools.
Effectively monitor, control and support service delivery, ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are followed
Define Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in relation to contracted services with multiple business groups and Vendors, ensuring SLAs are achieved; service quality and client expectations are met or exceeded.
Lead client / Vendor service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes. Lead and manage critical issues and engineer the resolutions to the problems.
Review service failures, outages, provide incident reports, change reports for the periodic analysis and management reporting.
Develop and maintain Continuous improvement plans (CIP)
Architect/Implement and manage the advance tools such as: replication for the mission critical application to support disaster recovery, Software define storage Fabric pool technologies -snapshot archive solution Snap center Data protection solution for the NetApp storage AppSync Data protection tool for the EMC storage Cloud Tiering tool for the NAS Archive All flash arrays management and optimization using CloudIQ tool, ActiveIQ tool, Auto Support and ESRS dial home tool EMC RecoverPoint Asynchronous replication for the Business continuity EMC Xtremio Native Replication tool EMC Unity Asynchronous native replication VMWare VM replication technologies, Automation solution for the SAP pipeline refresh, Workflow Automation tool management using NetApp Workflow automation tool, SAP Pipeline refresh automation solution Replication management using EMC RecoverPoint solutions Disaster recovery and Business continuity solutions using NetApp’s snapmirror tool Virtual Machine build/decommissions using Vcommandar Virtual Machine build / Decommissions using custom solution Monitoring integration for the Storage products with OpenView / SNMP / Service NOW Customize the Disaster recovery
