APT Portfolio Hiring for Financial Analyst at New Delhi Full Time

A.P.T. Portfolio is a proprietary trading group, specializes in quantitative strategies, statistical analysis and algorithms. It was set up in 2009, and has grown rapidly to become the largest proprietary trading house in India.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements, including half yearly and annual accounts.
- Prepare and maintain the accounting records, voucher creation, bank reconciliation etc.
- Preparation and filing of TDS & GST returns.
- Reconciling the ledger account balances and liaise with the vendors.
- Liaise with the insurance companies while obtaining the insurance policies and claims thereof.
- Preparation of documents related to STL, Fixed deposits & OD Lien etc and liaise with the banks.
- Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
- Adhering to regulatory and statutory compliance of SEBI/RBI and other regulatory bodies
- Manage financial systems and budgets
- Review the company’s systems and analyze risk
- Liaise with internal and external auditors (where applicable) and deal with any financial irregularities as they arise.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Files tax documents by preparing tax returns.
- Recommends tax strategies by researching tax issues.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
Skills:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of post-qualification experience.
- College Degree: Accounting, Finance or Business and Administration.
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Areas of Knowledge: Auditing, General Accounting and Finance
