Job Description:
Designation: Logistics Executive

Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to streamline and improve logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, while maintaining cost-effective practices.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any issues or bottlenecks in the supply chain.

Coordinate with internal teams, such as procurement, sales, and production, to ensure accurate forecasting and planning to meet customer demands.

Evaluate and select third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts to secure cost-effective transportation and storage services.

Oversee the documentation and compliance requirements related to logistics operations, including customs regulations, import/export documentation, and hazardous materials handling.

Continuously assess and improve logistics processes and systems to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics management to drive innovation and competitiveness.

Requirements

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

Proven experience of 1 year in logistics management, preferably in a supervisory or executive role.

Open to travel as per the operation requirements.

Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

Familiarity with logistics software and systems (e.g., Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems) and the ability to leverage technology to optimize operations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve logistical challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and service providers.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex logistics concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
