Urgently hiring for “Areion Assets Management Pvt. Ltd.” for Accounts and Finance role
Areion Assets Management Private Limited serves as the investment manager of a Category II Alternate Investment Fund focusing on investing in distressed assets. Areion Special Situation Fund is a contributory determinate investment trust organized under the Indian Trust Act 1882 and registered with SEBI as Category II Alternative Investment Fund. The investment objective of the Fund is to carry on the activity of a ‘Category II AIF’ and generate long term capital appreciation and yield (commensurate to the risk profile of the assets) by investing in debt and/or equity securities in companies or assets of companies in India that are experiencing financialstress or distress, or showing a potential for distress; real estate assets and, debt securities, equity securities, quasi equity, mezzanine debt and / or security receipts issued under the various schemes of trusts declared by Asset Reconstruction Companies (“ARCs”) or other permitted financial entities, and/or instruments. The fund also aims to provide interim finance during the CIR process under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016. AXIS trustee Services Private Limited, being the trustee of the fund, has appointed Areion Assets Management Private Limited as the Investment Manager of the fund to manage & administer the Trust, including but not limited to marketing, raising funds, advising, providing investment & divestment recommendations to the Trust.
Job description
· Tally entries, payment receivables, payables, purchase, sales entries.
· Liaising with Bank, bank reconciliation for fund accounting.
· Preparation of data required for filing returns of income tax, TDS, GST, PTRC.
· Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations like GST, TDS, PT etc.,
· Verification of data and Income allocation sheet prepared by fund administrator .
· Finalisation of accounts and Coordination with Statutory auditor for closure of books.
· Identifying, investigating and rectifying routine errors and anomalies in data and reports so that all financials data can be relied upon.
· Ability to work independently as well as in team
· Managing income and expenditure accounts
· Ensure proper accounting documentation.
· Knowledge and experience of spreadsheets.
· Knowledge on Income Tax, Statutory Compliances is a must.
Skills & Knowledge:
Proficiency in Microsoft office products. Excellent in excel.
