What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Prepare account reconciliations and analyze the results to remediate discrepancies
• Provide standard and specialized financial reports to address revenue and expenses on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate presentation of information
• Assist in month end and year end close as well as financial audits
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
• Assist with special projects as needed
• This position provides reporting and analysis for executive leadership therefore must be extremely detail oriented and organized. Candidate must have strong drive for completeness and accounting accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science (or BBA) in Accounting required.
• 1-2 years public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Strong analytical skills
• Must be highly skilled in use of Excel Spreadsheets and MS Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have excellent work habits (timeliness, professional etiquette)
• Ability to work both independently and within a group to accomplish set goals and deadlines
