The Production Engineer to contribute to the optimization and efficiency of our manufacturing process. As a production engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing production output, ensuring quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

This position is in Peenya, Bangalore.

In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:

Independent Production Handling:

• Understanding and handling the production in one shift completely and independently.

Inventory Management

• Be able to identify shortages and push for getting the parts from stores.

Performance Monitoring:

• Be able to check the hours of accounting done by the operators.
• Be able to review the efficiency report and identify root causes of low efficiency operators and act on improving their efficiencies.

Quality Control:

• Ensure the product is ready for final inspection.
• Offer products to final quality inspection, coordinate with Quality team accordingly.

Cost Verification:

• Verify the variances b/w the planned cost and quantities of BOM with the actual ones.

ERP Management:

• Complete production orders and put them in the right location in ERP.

Communication:

• Be able to provide updates in daily production order review meetings.

Role Requirements

• Diploma or Professional course in a relevant field.
• 5 plus years of experience working with operations in an industrial environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of deliveries, handling priorities and operators
• Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well-thought-out recommendations.
• Strong, team-oriented leadership skills with presence and a bias for action.
• Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results.
• Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations.
