Role Description

Job Purpose

Ø To manage documentation of processes falling in the area of Sustainability, Environment, Health & Safety at the manufacturing level.

Ø To prepare and design an annual sustainability report. Assist in disclosure to other active disclosure platforms such as CDP and DJSI

Ø To ensure compliance to Plastic Waste Management Rules and fulfil EPR liability

Ø This role will assess and work on internal & statutory reporting systems for continuous monitoring of key performance areas in the Environment function in supply chain manufacturing.

Ø This role will be responsible for vendor management related to the EHS function

Key Performance Indicators

Ø Participate in sub-activities of different projects taken up in SCRC EHS

Ø Prepare and design annual sustainability report and assist third party vendor in creating Sustainability website.

Ø Monitor and ensure timely compliance to PWM rules and EPR targets

Ø Coordinate with training, consulting & auditing agencies to organize identified training programs, seminars & audits for plant personnel & SCRC personnel

Ø Coordinate with accounts department for timely payment against invoices submitted by vendors & 3 rd party agencies for services delivered

Ø Manage changes in documentation of Asian Paints Environment Management System; it includes drafting changes and updating them in APQS – SFI-Workflow, Filenet & ARIS

Ø Conducting self-assessment for Environment Management System processes

Ø Preparation of monthly MIS reports for Environment, Health & Safety Management System & monthly expense monitoring report for entire SCRC department

Ø Validation of all Environment statutory reports to be submitted by plant personnel to statutory authorities on quarterly, half-yearly or annual basis

Ø Maintenance of valid environmental Consents & Authorization for all manufacturing paint plants

Ø Drive sustainability awareness agenda at the organization level

Ø Timely release of sustainability report

Ø Timely compliance to PWM rules and EPR targets

Ø Timely Completion of process improvement/ documentation projects

Ø Timely submission of MIS reports

Ø Timely support to plants Environment, Health & Safety teams in identified projects

Ø Timely organizing sustainability awareness webinars and drives
