Designation – Senior technician / Clinical Pharmacist Department – Clinical Pharmacology/ Clinical Pharmacy Qualification – Pharm D / Post. Pharm D/ M.Pharma (Pharmacy Practice) Experience – 1 – 3 years (should have 1 year Hospital Clinical Experience Unit – Aster CMI Hospital, Hebbal

• Review patient case records for identification and prevention of medication errors.
• Monitor and report Dispensing, Prescription, Administration and Medication Errors.
• All necessary drugs related interventions are reported to respective doctors either through mail or respective patient case record in hospital information system.
• Provide latest updates on drugs and provide information to doctors.
• Provide drug information to doctors whenever necessary during treatment period.
• Answering drug information queries from all departments by doctors or other health care professionals.
• Provide relevant drug information to patients.
• Inform the Drug – Drug interactions, Drug – Food interactions to the Doctors about the medications prescribed in the patient medication chart.
• Provide patient medication counselling.
• Counsel the patient regarding their disease condition and importance of medication adherence.
• Provide patient information leaflet whenever necessary.
• Patient’s home medications are monitored signed and approved in Medication Reconciliation forms.
• Interact with patients and monitor patient case record and adverse drug reaction.
• Educate all health care professionals regarding the importance of ADR reporting.
• Encourage all health care professionals for reporting ADR’s.
• Document all ADR’s occurred during the treatment period within the hospital through “ADR REPORTING FORM’’.
• Setting up of Hospital Drug Formulary and necessary addition and deletion of drugs from formulary as per the Pharmacy and Therapeutic committee (P&T) decisions through documentation.
• Update and circulate hospital drug formulary to all health care professionals
• Attending ward rounds at the respective departments with doctors and other health care professionals.
• Answering all drug related queries from doctors and others and documenting them.
• Monitoring the prescription chart on daily basis
• Identification of any medication errors and reporting to the respective doctor.
• Providing bed side counselling when required.

Most of our hospitals are NABH accredited with Medcity n Aster Ramesh (Guntur) JCI accredited.

In terms of revenue, we are USD 1.14 Bn company in which India contributes 17% and rest by GCC as of FY’19. Going forward we are also venturing into Pathology business (Aster Labs) by April’2020 n Pharmacy business in Jan ’21 apart from 3 new hospitals in next 3 years in India.
We have Centre of Excellence across various specialties like Neurosciences, Cardiac Sciences, Integrated Liver Care, Orthopaedics, Onco, Gastro, Nephro, etc. in most of our hospitals. In summary, most of our hospitals are tertiary and quaternary care setups. Kerala with 4 hospitals and 1 educational institute forms a cluster, Bangalore with 2 hospitals + 1 hospital in Kolhapur forms another cluster and Andhra+Telangana another cluster.
