Ather Energy Hiring for Mechanical Durability Test Engineer at Bengaluru, Karnataka Full Time

What you’ll do at Ather:
You will be part of the product validation team working for the mechanical durability team where you will be playing a role of Mechanical durability test setup & fixture development and DVP robustness.

Here’s what we are looking for:
Preparing the Design validation plan (DVP) for structural components , body works and transmission systems.

Ensuring the DVP test execution with the help of the lab team.

Good knowledge on mechanical test fixturing

Good understanding about automotive mechanical & structural component development process and manufacturing processes.

Experience on testing in Servo hydraulic test rigs

Expert in fatigue test execution.

Expert in instrumentation and data collection on component and vehicle level using sensors like strain gauges, accelerometers, LVDT etc.

Data analysis in both time and frequency domain techniques

Ability to left shift tests based on failures observed in field vehicles.

Hands on experience in Accelerated testing techniques

Good understanding about Lab to field correlation establishment for all the mechanical components.

Responsible for DVP robustness by relooking into current setups and introducing new test setups if required.

Field failure simulation and improve existing test standards.

Tools :
Data acquisition using systems like NI, LMS etc.

Data analysis and interpretation for collected data

You bring to Ather:
Eligibility criteria – BE/B.tech/ M.tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering

3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in the automotive industry ( handling validation of structural components).

Good Communication skills.
