We are looking for a dynamic and energetic leader to build the Supplier Quality Assurance team at Ather. You will be responsible for upholding the highest levels of Quality by establishing Supplier Quality Governance, Controls and Systems across Development and Production. You will lead a high impact team that will ensure we meet our supply targets towards becoming the leading EV 2-wheeler OEM.

What You’ll do at ather:
You will build and lead a world class team that will ensure top quality

Responsible for delivering all aspects of the Supplier Operations Assurance function on an on-going basis in line with the Ather Quality Management System.

Hire, Lead, Train and Mentor a high performing Supplier Quality Assurance team and drive Supplier Quality processes across Swimlanes to meet agreed objectives and deliver best practice results.

Lead supplier development strategy by designing processes, metrics, and systems for the Swimlanes and Suppliers.

Mandate the use of problem solving and continuous improvement techniques such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).

Work with Engineering functions (Designers and Manufacturing Engineers) and Supplier Management teams to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet Ather’s product and process requirements.

Own all Supplier Quality issues/bugs and anchor the Cross Functional Team to drive Containment, Corrective and Preventive solutions using Processes and Problem solving tools.

Review supplier manufacturing processes, collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities.

Support new product launches to ensure suppliers are capable of delivering to Ather quality standards (SQRM)

Review and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain. And Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective and preventive actions of supplier quality issues.

Review all documents during the Ather Product Development System (APDS) using Supplier and Manufacturing Quality lens.

Work with the Auditing function, IPQC, IQC and PQ to prioritize the Supplier Audits, identify Suppliers who are improving and those that are deteriorating on quality. And work with the Manufacturing Engineering and Supplier Management team to drive Supplier Development activities.

Publish Supplier Metrics to the leadership team in the MRM and recommend a way forward on Suppliers.

Here’s What we Are Looking for:
Expertise in Supplier Quality Management in automotive industry

Expertise in 7QC tools, DMAIC, APQP and 8D.

Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver quality output to meet the deadlines and handle details without losing sight of the bigger picture.

You Bring to Ather:
B.E or equivalent with Specialization in Automobile / Mechanical/Manufacturing

12-20 years of relevant experience in Supplier Quality As
