The Software & Services that we use to create such a unique experience form an integral part of our Operations. The successful candidate would head Ather’s procurement operations in these commodity categories.

What you’ll do at Ather:
Design and execute Supplier Relationship Management initiative in line with the organization’s objectives and priorities

Handle procurement commodities – of IT category, Hardware, Software,IT infrastructure, Data Cloud, Telecom Software Enterprise Application, Contingent Labor and Managed IT Service s

Stratify suppliers based on strategic importance; design customized supplier engagement programs

Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with suppliers and work with suppliers and internal teams to design plans for action from the review

Identify risks early and proactively mitigate them

Lead and conduct the annual supplier event, including working on the content and messaging for the supply base

Monitor performance of the suppliers and raise alerts on any technology, supply chain, quality gaps, and work with suppliers and Ather teams to design improvement plans

Work closely with the supply base and the internal cross-functional teams of Sourcing, Fulfilment, and Quality to successfully execute the supplier engagement plans

Communicate to suppliers on happenings and events at Ather

Here’s what we are looking for:
Good experience on understanding of supplier landscape, value chain mapping, understanding of Zero based costing.

Experienced in developing and executing strategies with suppliers

Experience in managing the three pillars of program management – time, cost, quality

Ability to work on Spend analysis, negotiations, and good understanding of commercials and INCO terms.

Ability to work well within a team – enjoys collaborating, persuading, and influencing

Ability to thrive under pressure – to manage challenging deadlines

Good collaboration skills, the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders

Strong planning, process management, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Experience in working on Greenfield projects will be a plus

You bring to Ather:
A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute, OR an MBA in Supply Chain Management

8 – 12 years of relevant functional experience in handling Indirect commodities procurement

Experience in industries such as Automobile, Aerospace, or other related manufacturing industries would be a plus.
