Position: Head Finance

Organisation: A Leading NGO

Experience: Min 10 yrs

Qualification: CA/CMA or Master’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting/Finance)

Location: Mumbai

Description

• Responsible for streamlining the processes, data analysis, bring understanding of the accounting, legal and sector knowledge and statutory requirements
• Overall supervision and management of finance and accounts function as per the finance policies and procedures
• Responsible for the preparation of the annual budget under guidance of the CEO and inputs from COO/program heads.
• Assist the CEO with strategic plans and represent/participate in various initiatives/forums on Finance and strengthen organisation’s position with respect to finance and governance

Requirements

• CA/CMA or Master’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting/Finance) from a reputed institution/ university
• Minimum 10 years’ of relevant experience. Experience in an NGO a plus
• Prior experience of working with senior leadership of an organization and the Board on strategic matters
• Sound experience in financial management, budgeting, statutory compliances, government regulations, financial troubleshooting and audits
