Finance Associate – WORK FROM HOME – Contractual role for 3 months – For an Automobile Company

Contractual Role – CAN be Extended or made to permanent based on performance to can be ended too

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Ensuring all revenue is recorded correctly and accurately each month, by revenue type.
• Reconciling revenue accounts to supporting documents, including invoices and cash

receipts.

• Completing bank reconciliations and managing company bank accounts.
• Accounting for income earned on our value add services, such as financing income,

extended warranty and insurance income.

• Ensuring GST / VAS is accounted for correctly.
• Ensuring deposits and accrued income are recorded accurately and completely.
• Perform all accounting processes, including the preparation of month end journals and

general ledger reconciliations. Ensuring all month end procedures are completed accurately and in accordance with communicated timeframes.

• Manage the month end review process and ensure all reconciliations are prepared and reviewed before the month end reporting cut-off.
• Ensuring all relevant accounting standards and principles are complied with.
• Year end processes, including responding to audit queries.
• Training and supervision of staff, as required.
• Developing better processes and procedures for your areas of responsibility.
• Implementing best practices to ensure balance sheet accounts are reviewed and cleared out in a timely manner.
• Leading a business partnering approach to your areas of responsibility, such that your

work is led by a knowledge of the underlying business. Liaising directly with senior
management in Australia to achieve this.

• Providing support to the broader team as and when required.

Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• CA / IPCC / MBA / CPA qualified with 3-5 years of post-qualified experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong accounting skills and good grasp of accounting concepts.
• Ability to collaborate and work well in a cross-functional team.
• Self-motivated and driven.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong Knowledge about Inventory / Vendor Management
• Proactively seeks to solve problems through creating permanent solutions.
• Good working knowledge of SAP

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: ₹800,000.00 – ₹1,000,000.00 per year
