Job Description: Automation Test Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Develop execute and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium Cypress TestNG or similar tools.
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to define test strategies and create automated test suites for new and existing features.
Ensure the automation coverage for functional regression and integration tests is robust and well documented.
Identify track and report bugs and issues to the development team and verify fixes.
Participate in code reviews and ensure high standards of test automation.
Ensure that all automated tests are running efficiently in various environments (staging production).
Analyse test results identify bottlenecks and improve the automation framework.
Work closely with product teams to ensure test cases meet functional and nonfunctional requirements.
Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation tools and frameworks to suggest and implement improvements.
Requirements/Skills:
35 years of experience in software development or servicebased testing.
24 years of experience in test automation within software development or servicebased environments.
Strong handson experience with automation frameworks like Selenium Cypress Appium JUnit TestNG or PyTest.
Proficient in programming languages such as Java Python or JavaScript for writing automation scripts.
Strong problemsolving and debugging skills with an eye for detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with product managers developers and other stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
Experience with REST API testing tools like Postman SoapUI or RestAssured.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git. Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (JIRA Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with cloud environments especially Azure AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
Requirements/Skills: 3-5 years of experience in software development or service-based testing. 2-4 years of experience in test automation within software development or service-based environments. Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest. Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with an eye for detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.
