Avaloq Hiring for Domain Software Architect (E&W) at Pune, India Full Time

We are looking to hire a Software Architect who has both business acumen and technical experience, to work on Avaloq banking products in the Wealth Domain, areas of Wealth Management and Investment Advisory. You will work mainly in the context of your product domains, but also together with various other teams such as Architecture, Product, and Project Delivery. The whole group is responsible for developing and maintaining our Avaloq solutions. Your role is product focused: As a Domain Architect you will set the strategic direction and develop the overall architecture for the domain, which includes software, business processes, for the Avaloq banking platform. Based on the strategy, you will be responsible to define the architecture and implementation path together with the relevant stakeholders, such as project managers, the delivery teams and service providers. * Focus on architecture, on conceptual work and on the definition of architectural guidelines and patterns together with system architects * Liaise with the Central Architecture to understand and contribute to the company Architecture and Technology Roadmap * Be responsible for the definition/radical evolution of strategy/architecture/patterns * Be responsible for the definition/prioritization of non-functional goals/requirements * Act as Subject Matter Expert at specific areas (Portfolio Management, Investment Advisory) and be able to go deep into requirement/solution gaps in collaboration with tech leads * Mentor the team architects and tech-leads of your product domain * Work as part of an agile development team in line with the product/project roadmap * Reserve a 20% of your effort to work on coding and code reviews * Ensure the roadmap is communicated/documented (externally and internally) * Acquire knowledge regarding the setup and requirements of key clients and typical prospects * Be accountable to pro-actively challenge, review and assess product architecture , as well as end-to-end implementation projects * Build a solid network within the organization with the aim to knows well what other domains and divisions are doing What you need University degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent * At least 10 years of work experience in one or more of the following Architecture roles: Business/Banking Architectures, Technology/Software/Integration Architectures, Enterprise architectures, Digital banking. * Proven knowledge in Avaloq Core Platform (ACP) including the integration of 3rd party systems. * Up to date knowledge on Business and IT architectures patterns, methods, and tooling. * Digital Banking know-how, ideally Avaloq solutions * Experience with Angular, Microservices and Java * Knowledge of Jira and Confluence * Ability to work in an agile team * Professional communication skills in English * Open-minded, team-oriented, and communicative personality * Collaborative hands-on spirit * Being eager to learn and wanting to take on new challenges You will get extra points for the following (nice-to-have) * Experience in Wealth and Investment Advisory areas * Avaloq certification We offer high flexibility in regards to working models (e.g. part time and home office models are possible depending on business requirements).
