Intoduction:
As a senior java developer in the RFT ICE Server team, the prospective candidate will get exposure to many business deliverable projects in the Risk visualization pipelines, focus on build out of a new strategic Front Office trading tools and migration of risk systems and Regulatory deliverables, role and responsibilities includes:

• Responsible for the build out of Front Office risk analytic and trading tools.
• Hands on development focused on building out cross-asset risk visualization platforms for risk, finance and Operation s working on the latest Big Data technologies within the Hadoop ecosystem
• Deliver strategic risk management system to meet various SIP commitments and regulatory programmes.
• Help accelerate the delivery of strategic RFT front to back
• Liaison between RFT Risk Pub and Central Data Office for requirements, deliveries and supports.

What will you be doing?

• Working with trading desk, finance and Operations to build high perform business critical risk analytic and trading tool.
• Working with risk/finance/Treasury and compliance personnel to gather and refine business requirements
• Perform technical assessments of requirements received, solution design and effort estimation
• Perform technical design and data modelling base on functional requirements
• Design/development of important service orchestration layer to integrate state-of-the-art caching technologies and Hadoop eco-systems
• Evaluate new technologies in the Market and conduct technical POC
• Build/test the approved design and creation of release notes for implementation into production in accordance with the Agile best practices
• Perform user training and production support for live systems.

What we’re looking for:

• • 7+ years of development of Java server side technologies including web technologies on Linux/Unix environments (JBOSS or Weblogic etc)
  • In depth knowledge of Multi-threaded, high throughput, low-latency design of Java service components.
  • 5+ years of experience working with one of the industrial messaging technology platforms (Kafka, flume, Solace, TIBEMS, or MQ etc)
  • 5+ years of experience with Pl/Sql and Oracle or other commercial database.
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field

Skills that will help you in the role:

• • Experience with Team City integration, Nolio and SonarQube
  • Experience with Git/Stash/JIRA/Nexus for source and version control, Autosys for batch control
  • Experience working with offshore teams
  • Financial industry experience, knowledge of Derivatives products.
