Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Own and drive business features into tech requirements
The resource will typically be working on evolving and fine tuning a wide range of tools starting with Monitoring tools like Prometheus and Nagios to build and deployment tools including Jenkins
Building Production grade Stateless and stateful kubernetes setup using tools like CephFS
Help us build robust automation for quality by developing generic frameworks that various micro services teams can on-board to
Assist peer developers for coding and troubleshooting
Staying updated on emerging technologies
Ensuring that all deliverables adhere to our world class standards
Qualifications & Experience-

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering is a must and minimum of 4 + years Dev ops exp.
• Hands On Experience in developing tools in Java, Java Script , Python and such other languages
• Proficient working with Amazon Web Services – EKS, EC2, EBS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Rancher etc. in a highly available and scalable production environment.
• Knowledge of Linux systems administration and architecture.
• Skills to build smart, efficient automation capabilities using appropriate languages or tools – e.g. Ruby, Shell/Bash scripts etc.
• Expert in continuous integration, build, test, release and deployment and comfortable with environments like Jenkins, GitHub.
• Developing Test Automation Frameworks for Micro Services Testing in a integration environment
• Designed and Developed a system for monitoring and reporting.
• Experience as a DevOps engineer in a scalable production environment is a plus.
• Experience in high availability, low latency, health monitoring of relational, non-relational and big data stores is plus.
• Working knowledge and experience with SQL would be good.
• Can act independently when necessary, creating and executing plans for maintenance and implementation.
• A critical eye to assess our current capabilities and multiple ideas to make them better.
• Great attitude and a desire to have your work make a big impact to the teams and organization.
