The Operations team is an integral part of our business, and we are looking to grow it. We are looking for a smart, goal-oriented and energetic Accountant to support the growth of our portfolio and build a great customer experience.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- The below outlines the corresponding responsibilities of the accountant but does not represent an exhaustive or complete list of activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare client invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
- Create billings for all lines of business.
- Research all billing discrepancies and make necessary corrections.
- Bank reconciliation and allocation of receipts on real time basis for all cash receipts.
- Performing account reconciliations.
- Maintaining accounts receivable files and records.
- Producing necessary reports as required by the Team Leader.
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- We are looking for a young and motivated finance / accounting graduate. The ideal candidate would be hardworking, result oriented, efficient, quick learner and flexible in terms of work characteristics. On the personal side, the candidate should show ambition, energy, tenacity, dedication, and hunger to improve.
Experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree and over 2 years of experience in accounting in an Insurance Industry.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be detail oriented and organized.
- Must be able to work on multi-tasks.
- Good time management skills.
- Computer friendly and capable.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to review and analyze any problems/issues and come up with recommendations on how to solve the problems/issues; and
- Excellent organizational skills with a willingness to assume responsibilities and take initiative; ability to be a team player.
