To continue with our journey of growth we are looking for a Developer with a strong background in C# and Unity Development to join the development team. Reporting to the Technical Lead, you will be working with small and close-knit team on exciting and varied XR (AR/VR) projects in several industry sectors. To qualify for this opportunity, we are seeking a degree qualified individual with good working knowledge of C# and Unity development experience. Any knowledge of C++ and Unreal would also be a bonus, but this is not essential. If you’re an experienced Developer who’s looking to join a high growth company at an exciting stage of its growth, then this is your ideal opportunity.The developer will hold a BSc/BEng degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering with previous experience in C#, Unity Development and XR technology.We will be looking to you to bring ideas forward to solve solutions in a creative and novel way. We are looking to expand our capabilities into a range of new tech that will allow us to stay at the forefront of the industry, providing innovative learning solutions to our global customers. Therefore, keeping up to date with the latest technological advancements that can support our Visualisation capability will be required. This is supported by providing you with time and funding to work on edtech projects whereby new tools, solutions, and ideas can be developed.An understanding of User Experience (UX) design and the gamification of learning is also desirable.Desired qualifications are an MSc degree in Computer Science with previous experience working in C#, Unity Development and XR technology.Specifically, the ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications, skills and experiences: BSc/BEng degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering. MSc degree in Computer Science or related (desired). Experience in C# and Unity Development or related XR technology either in an academic or commercial setting.

• Design and build a highly scalable Unity based platform to run thousands of scientific simulations reaching millions of professionals globally with a team of passionate professionals
• Supporting new target platforms (such as mobile) or technical challenges like the requirements to further reduce loading times, require a strong lead to ensure we stay up to date with the underlying technology.
• Continuously lead technology, architecture, and process upgrades.
• Be the company’s Unity and C# development lead.
• Work directly with the founders and platform lead to engineer cutting-edge solutions.
• Help bring overall Unity development across BCI teams to the next level and work closely with a passionate remote team.
• Play a critical part in realizing BCI’s long-term grand vision of creating the world’s most popular online platform for building and playing high quality immersive learning simulations for professionals.
• Portfolio of high-quality interactive Unity games or Unity apps
• In-depth understanding of good UX in 3D interactive experiences

Experience of software development techniques e.g. version control. Experience of integrating APIs from different sources (desirable). Experience of using key mobile application building platforms (desirable). Ability to present and communicate to diverse audiences. Ability to interpret and clearly articulate technical and complex information. Ability to work independently and comfortable working remotely as required. Previous experience in a tech company and/or a strong interest in C# and Unity Development including interest in edtech (desired).We offer
