EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Min 10 Year experience in Application Support or equivalent IT / EPC function BE / B. Tech / MCA or equivalent Scientific or Engineering Degree or bachelor’s degree in other academic stems with over 10 years of EPC industry on domestic and international field assignments. Candidates with the following will also be considered: Specialized courses in Construction and Management Work Experience in similar capacity with thorough understanding of the job Construction site experience would be an added advantage ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Responsible for the implementation of Construction Applications from Bechtel Production System including strategizing, planning, and follow though of deployments on projects across all GBU’s. Responsible for interfacing with projects across all Bechtel GBU’s to collect functional requirements. Coordinate development of the next generation of tools with our existing projects and current tool sets. Conduct comprehensive testing and quality assurance in software releases. Works with projects and Corporate Construction, Field Engineering Management to resolve technical and work process issues. Provide backup support for other Construction applications. Staying current with new technologies that will benefit Bechtel Construction and applying them where appropriate. Coordinate and conduct construction applications and other application training and roll out to project sites. Prepare presentations for various Corporate Construction meetings and events. Role will also include devising innovative approaches to problems encountered to provide solutions to the customer. Coordinate with the Construction Automation Lead to support application end users for managing processes for the complete project life cycle. Coordinate with project teams to ensure Project automation plans comply with BSAP standards Support end user training for Construction applications Documentation and understand all integration points with external systems. Prepare test plans, migration plans and new release forms for new versions of Construction BSAPS before they are released for use Understanding of SQL, SSRS. Knowledge of standard office productivity tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Understanding of Data exchanges and integration. Ability to troubleshoot dataflow issues within applications. Knowledge of Adapters and APIs for data integration with other applications Eg. S3D, Aconex, SPPID Knowledge of Standard Work Process Procedures (SWPPs). Familiarity with Data analytics and reporting. Working knowledge of PowerBI. Maintain / develop standard reporting practices. Interaction and communication within Automation and IS&T groups, Corporate teams, GBU / Site offices. Interaction with vendors and suppliers. Amenable to work in shift operations.
