About Teach India Initiative: Teach India is a renowned CSR initiative led by The Times of India, dedicated to promoting volunteerism and enhancing the employability of underprivileged youth through spoken English skills training. It aims to empower disadvantaged communities by providing them with valuable skills to succeed in the modern job market. As the Head of CSR Sales for the Teach India initiative, the role holder will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to drive revenue generation from Corporates, Government Bodies, and other relevant agencies. The primary objective will be to secure funding from these organizations as part of their CSR activities, contributing to the sustainable growth and impact of Teach India nationwide
2. Areas of Responsibility (Key Result Areas)
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan:
• Develop a comprehensive B2B sales strategy to effectively target potential donors to secure funding for Teach India.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential corporate donors, government bodies, and other funding sources aligned with Teach India’s objectives.
• Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and donor preferences to develop a data-driven sales approach.
• Set ambitious yet achievable revenue targets for the initiative.
Build and maintain strong relationships:
• Establish and nurture relationships with CXOs, Corporate Senior Leaders, and decision-makers within target organizations to promote Teach India as a valuable CSR investment opportunity.
• Proactively network with key stakeholders across industries and sectors to identify potential funding opportunities and partnerships for Teach India.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors.
• Effectively communicate the value proposition of Teach India and its impact on society.
Secure funding and manage partnerships:
• Negotiate and close large-scale funding agreements with corporations and government bodies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the specific interests and objectives of potential donors, highlighting the social impact and brand visibility benefits of supporting Teach India.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with relevant organizations to expand reach and impact.
• Lead contract negotiation and finalization processes with donors, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and agreements.
• Oversee the fulfillment of contractual obligations and ensure donor satisfaction to secure future opportunities.
Reporting and analysis:
• Track progress towards sales targets and measure the effectiveness of sales strategies.
• Regularly report on sales performance, key metrics, and return on investment (ROI) to stakeholders.
• Analyze data and identify opportunity areas in the sales process.
