• Co-ordination with Export Sales team, production, Despatch stores handling export & import customs clearance.
• Conversant with L/C terms and other banking requirements co-ordinating with shipping companies for shipment to various destinations starting with freight quotes, negotiations, co-ordinating for container factory stuffing, completing all export procedures, monitoring / co-ordinating for on-board clean BL as per customer requirement.
• Negotiate with Transporters for competitive freight, and make long term contracts.
• Advance licence, Draw backs including RoDTEP, export incentives, availing of export Promotion benefits etc.
• Co-ordination with documentation team, and ensure that the original documents are forwarded to the bank / customers within shortest possible time.
• Preparation of shipment documents for export as well as import of goods.
• Follow up with different internal departments like merchandising, production, quality and accounts for timely availability of materials for shipment, vehicle for the same etc.
• Handling pre shipment documentation of any order.
