Project & Programme Management for late stage biosimilar product
Role/Job Description:
o Program manager for late stage (single asset) for global biosimilar development
• Primary responsibilities:
o Achieve business targets set for the asset in the beginning of the FY
o Prepare, publish and track integrated project plans in Microsoft projects and customized excels
o Weekly review with Biocon Cross Functional Teams (CFT)
o Fortnightly review with Project Leader (PL) from R&D, and Program-Head to report the progress and
performance of asset(s)
o Lead Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and meet monthly to bring all stakeholders on the same page,
resolve conflicts, determining priorities and identifying escalation points to Program Head and Head
R&D
o Lead preparation for internal management review forums like Monthly Business Review (MBR),
Quarterly Business Review (QBR), Board presentations
o Prepare budget annually, track and manage the expenses on monthly/quarterly basis. Major focus on

rd Party expenses & FTEs
o Manage preparation and review of FTE billing statement quarterly
o Liase with legal, finance and Program Head for third party service providers contract negotiation
o Work with CFT to constantly improve systems and process to remove redundancies and bottlenecks
o Work with peers in PMO office to continuously improve the project and program management function
o Client contact for all important communications to maintain healthy relationship. Lead discussions
related to troubleshooting
o Lead preparation for biweekly calls with JDC and monthly reports to be sent to JDC & JSC
o Lead preparation for the Joint Development Committee (JDC) meetings (once a month) and Joint
Steering Committee (JSC) meetings (half yearly)
o Manage all expectations of JDC, JMC and JSC
• Technical / Functional Skills:
o Total Experience – 7+ years
o Project management experience (at least 5 plus years)
o Proficiency in Microsoft projects and project management tools (at least 3-4 years)
o PMP certified
o Basic knowledge in SAP
o Prior experience in R&D / RA (optional)
• Behavioral / Management / Other Skills:
o Team player as it involves managing a big team involving senior leadership
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Good articulation skills – Required in JDC meetings
o Willing to take larger responsibilities
