As a Senior Postgres DBA, you will strategist, and deploy the processes in the respective fields. You will ensure on-time delivery and effective resolution of field related incidents/requests thereby ensuring business continuity, working with the development team, providing technical and operational support activities of Database Servers, including logical and physical database design support, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, tuning, and optimizing

What we are looking for
Must-Have:
Minimum 3 years of Experience as Postgres Database administrator
Experience in monitoring, managing, and maintaining mission-critical 24×7 mission-critical databases
Experience in monitoring different types of monitoring tools and come up with suggestions
Good understanding of SQL queries & PostgreSQL, Architecture
Installation / Configuration / Administration PostgreSQL server
Exposure in Data Migration between different databases
Knowledge on Table Partitions / Shading Scripting and Managing Implementing high-availability solutions
Experience in Installation /configuration of Replication, load balancing
Expert in Backup Recovery including PG dump, setting up WAL archiving
Setting up monitoring tools and tune different database metrics to monitor
Implement database security policies
DB level optimization
Working knowledge of operating system internals
Experience in Performance-tuning consultation by working closely with the development team to tune the database and meet application-specific needs
Should work on PostgreSQL in house utilities/ scripting
Familiarity with Shell scripting and MPP distribution
Experience in container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, etc Excellent verbal and written communication skills for Client Interaction
