Duties and Responsibilities

Keeping a tab on overall supervision of various accounting and finance activities up to finalization of accounts. Periodic closing of P&L, Balance sheet, receivables, and payables, vouching and GL scrutiny, depreciation & compliances with Audit and taxation.

Monthly closing of P&L; reviewing all necessary journal entries, analyzing cost & P&L variances, Balance sheet reconciliation, yield review, key matrix review, and investigating unusual items. Preparation of the budget and forecast.

Preparing MIS, Financial Closure Statements and reports as required under the relevant statute.

Oversee and maintain the accounting function for Business Unit, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.

Maintain a documented set of Accounting Policies and Procedures.

Deliver monthly management reporting to the leadership team and presenting financial summaries and business insights to senior management.

Verification of bank payments to ensure all payments has been made as per agreed terms and conditions and credit period.

Preparation of monthly VAT pay-out workings and Preparation of Monthly Cash flow forecasting’s.

Ensuring that bank reconciliation statements are prepared on a periodical basis and timely closing of all open items lying in the BRS.

Professional Qualification: ICMAI or Similar
