Global Securities Operations
One of the three international operations centers, BNP Paribas Global Securities Operations (GSO) provides
services to global clients in the Asian region and some “follow-the-sun” activities for European clients. Wholly
owned by BNP Paribas Securities Services, the GSO center offers a wide range of services, which include
custody operations, fund accounting, middle-office operations, static data management, clearing and
settlement operations, and other transversal services.
Job Title: Associate
Position Purpose
The Process Associates You will be responsible for serving numerous Institutional Clients and their Portfolio’s
in the areas of Asset Management, Asset Servicing, Performance calculation, Trade processing related
activities pertaining to different markets across the globe. The Process Associate is responsible for interacting
with Line Managers and the clients of BNP Paribas Group and needs to provide high quality of service to the
internal/external clients to meet the expected service standards.
The Process Associate will be managing the daily operations/workflow within the business group and helps
the Assistant Manager in achieving the process deliverables. Solid technical understanding of the business is
expected, including strong knowledge of accounting, custody services, Trade Processing. Demonstrated
commitment to continuous process improvement is required. You will be responsible for serving numerous

Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
o Processing of transactions within the agreed timelines
o Ensure all the transactions are completed and approved in the system within the TAT
o Ensure all the transactions are processed with at most care without errors/mistakes
o Prioritize the work and conduct investigation with due diligence on all the discrepancies
o Taking corrective measures/action in consultation with the Assistant Manager/Senior Associate
o Escalate unresolved open items to the Assistant Manager/Senior Associate
o Maintain Communication Channels with internal peer groups
o Participate in Cross Training and ensure the Knowledge transfer between the team and processes is
happening on periodic basis
o Participate in Brain Storming Sessions and share the best practices and ideas with the peer groups and team
members
o Consistently evaluate and update documented procedures to ensure they are complete, accurate and current
o The position interfaces with other Process Associates, Mid Office Staff, Relationship Managers and Clients
o The position interfaces with International Team Members of BNP Group and its Clients or Vendors or Sub[1]Custodians

o Thorough understanding of all Capital market, Financial Instruments, Investment baking processes and above
average accounting skills

Specific Qualifications (if required)
o Degree – B.Com/ M.Com/MMS / MBA / PGDM (Specialization in Finance)
o Candidates with minimum aggregate score of 60% & above with no current backlogs
o Should be open to work in Investment Banking Operations domains & should be flexible to work in any of below shifts (both regular / rotational)
i. Sydney shift : 4.00 am login
ii. Singapore shift : 6.00 am login
iii. UK shift : 11.30 am login
iv. New Zealand shift : 4.00 pm login
o Candidates should be willing to travel to Chennai for training purpose when required
o Work experience – Fresher or less than 12 months of relevant work experience
