Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center is IT Manager Application Development – Systems Engineering for its Product Systems (PS) team. The IT Manager Application Development – Systems Engineering will lead the planning, execution and deployment of technology solutions for Engineering and Systems Engineering applications landscape. Position Responsibilities:

• Provide Strategic direction and Delivery management for Engineering IT/MBSE Professionals in development and support of solutions for Engineering IT applications.
• Lead a team of Engineering IT/MBSE application developers by demonstrating technical competency in programming, architecture, people and delivery management
• Own the business relationship with various Boeing global sites from an application development perspective
• Manage the development and delivery of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and MBSE/MBE solutions. Also have a vision towards digital thread solutions.
• Have a fair understanding of UAF, sysML and other modelling languages.
• People Management: Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, supervision and developmental opportunities for Engineering IT/PLM/MBSE/MBE/CAx application developers. Drive productivity, quality, and employee engagement.
• Functional knowledge towards CATIA Nomagic solutions and understanding of Client/Server architecture.
• Technical working knowledge of any programming knowledge either Java, JEE/ .NET,C#, JUnit/NUnit or expertise supporting/configuring PLM/MOM COTS. Also some knowledge on RDBMS/NoSQL and SOA/Microservices
• Partnerships: Develop relationships with business teams, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Maintain internal and external relationships, including evaluating inbound opportunities and proactively nurture partnerships across the enterprise.
• The candidate will need to drive strategy across business units and functions; solve complex problems and deliver complex solutions in large environments.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills
• A strong background in building relationships and working cross-functionally
• Deep personal experience in performing and leading teams to perform enterprise wide Engineering IT related statements of work, defining process, evaluating tools, and engaging vendors for IT Product Systems.
• Resourcefulness, curiosity, and passion are required traits.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with leading people/teams and systems related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), MBE
• Strong, proven experience of 3DExperience platform implementation, especially on CATIA Nomagic and network interface modeling. Also knowledge of integration technologies.
• Strong PLM process knowledge in RFLP modeler, Requirements Management, Change Management, Variant Management, 3DConfigurator, Requirement Management, Document Management
• Experience with latest software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Cloud)
• Experience with leading digital transformation efforts in Aerospace/Automotive or related Engineering/Manufacturing domain
• A flair to manage and lead highly engaged high performing teams

Desired Skills:

• Experience in Aerospace domain or related manufacturing industry domain

Typical Education/experience:

• Must have Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with 12 to 16 years of experience.
