Boeing Global Services Digital Solutions – Flight Domain Portfolio is currently looking for one Lead Technical Product Owner to join their team in Bengaluru, KA. As a TPO, you will be part of the Boeing Global Services Digital Solutions team, which develops software applications and products that create direct value to its customers. We are looking for an Experienced Technical Product Owner to create and manage Technical backlog of several digital application products. Position Responsibilities: Requirements Development and stakeholder management

• Works with Business team and Architect to transform business requirements breaking down features into user stories, transform business requirements to functional and non-functional technical requirements
• Enter requirements into JIRA/JAMA and maintains requirement change control.
• Define story acceptance criteria
• Elaborate stories using rule flow
• Ensures requirements quality by creating and managing requirements reviews.
• Prepare and share DOR document with the stakeholders.
• Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client’s organization and industry.
• Identifies client organization’s strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.
• Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
• Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements.
• Works with development team to refine and clarify requirements.
• Performs current state analysis, gap analysis, risk assessment, and other related tasks as directed.
• This position provides periodic updates to Boeing management in the form of progress reports, project summaries, and other related documents. This position will also be responsible for coordinating and communicating regularly with experts in Boeing organizations around the world.
• Interact with aviation industry and regulatory bodies

PI Planning

• Participate in PI planning and help/work with teams in establishing PI commitments.
• Provide the priority for the user stories for the PI planning.
• Works with the team to answer questions and clarify requirements.
• Support team on any impediments related to requirements and scope.
• Experience in understanding, defining and consuming business domain concept model, logical model and physical model
• Define requirements using UML models. Understanding of

  • Activity Flow Diagrams
  • Business Service Diagrams
  • Sequence Diagrams
  • Use Case Modeling

PI Execution

• Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospectives, End of Sprint Demos, Daily Stand Ups, System demos, Story acceptance
• Provide the priority for the user stories in the sprint planning.
• Support team on any impediments related to requirements and scope.
• Work with the RTM/Product Manager for UAT schedule planning.
• Drive UAT and co-ordinate with Business team.
• Perform sanity test in the UAT environment.
• Validate the bug fixes in UAT before giving to Business team.
• Prioritize and classify the UAT bugs along with the business team.
• Share UAT progress status to the stakeholders.
• Get the UAT approval from the Business team for the release.
• Participates in the review of the User Guide as an Approver.
• Participate in Production deployment window.
• Participate in Scrum of Scrum meetings on need basis.
• Regular testing / participate in internal demo of user stores in the development phase and approve for UAT.
• Validate crowd test bugs.
• Participate in all Scrum / SAFe events.
• Participate in Business Team Scrum meeting to provide daily updates.

Shared roles (Product mgr. Vs TPO)

• Come up Vision and Roadmap along with Product manager and share to team
• Come up with Release planning forecast work with product manager and Scrum master
• Identify Personas for product, work with product manager
• Defect management – key responsibility
• Product positioning along with Product manager

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): (13 to 16 years)

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 13 to 16 years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master 12 to 15 years’ related work experience.
• Practical knowledge of software requirements development.
• User story development.
• Understanding and demonstration of:

  • Class Diagrams
  • Activity Flow Diagrams
  • Business Service Diagrams
  • Sequence Diagrams
  • Use Case Modeling
• Demonstrated ability to use office automation to include:

  • Understands Internet and client/server architectures in a web-based application.
  • Good understanding and experience of Distributed systems design considerations
  • Good understanding and experience with Micro services based architecture
  • Good understanding on container technologies Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Good understanding of public cloud AWS and Azure.
  • Experience of Agile methodology in a software environment.

Technology and Domain Skills

• Domain experience in Aerospace/Navigation Solutions/Geo Spatial technologies
• Experience in Flight Planning/Simulation Software is an added advantage
• Knowledge of Air Navigation Services and Airspace structures
• Understanding of aviation regulatory and service provides requirements
• Experience in providing Navigation solutions (NavData, Geospatial, AMDB, NOTAMs, Flight Planning, Weather, Cloud Services)
• Experience in evangelizing cloud adoption and establishing cloud architectures
• Knowledge on Standards for Processing Aeronautical Data (DO-200) or DO178
• Experience in Software Development
• Good understanding of Arinc 424, AMDB, Navigation databases, Weather, Notams

• Good understanding of technologies Java & Springboot API, RESTful API and GraphQL, PostgreSQL/NoSQL, Test Automation Mocking Framework

• Good understanding of Azure Cloud

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• CSPO certification/POPM
