Roles and Responsibilities:

• Complete daily/monthly provisional and accounting entries (Sales, Purchase, Debit notes, credit notes, receipts, payments) accurately.
• Monitoring the daily financial operations of the company.
• Tracking company’s financial states and identifying areas that need amendments.
• Research and analyse financial reports of the company.
• Stay updated with the trends in accounting software in the market.
• Compute TDS online, preparing TDS returns and ensure timely payments of the bank.
• Handling Bank/ Creditors/ Debtors Reconciliation.
• Writing memos in a structured way following a position outline drafted by onshore team.
• Analysis and resolution of intercompany differences between trading partners.
• Auditing the financial transactions and documents.
• Handling GST Payment and Return Filing.
• Creating new vendor setups and defining their terms of payments.
• Keeping up-to-date records of inventory and account roles.
• Assisting in quarterly internal audits as well as external audits.
• Assessing internal control systems and formulating Management Points to highlight the shortcomings with suggestions.
• Making budgets considering all the relevant variance analysis.

Requirements:

• Accountant with the experience of 1-4 years.
• Knowledge of TDS and GST is a must.
• Strong computer and analytical skills that includes MS excel/ sheets (ERP, SAR, SAP).
• Ability to multitask along with responsibility to take decisions.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with automated financial- systems.
• Co-ordinating with internal audit team.
• Good in handling letters of credit and bank guarantees.
• Superior mathematical and leadership skills.
• Must be able to work correctly in a high-pressure work environment.
• Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP, IFRS) and corporate accounting policies.
• Must have the knowledge about the accounting software that are used in the market.

Education:

• Bachelors in Accounting, Business or any other related field.
• Masters in any related field.
• CA/CMA is preferred.
