Principal Software Engineer The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What you’ll achieve
As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
You will:

• Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle
• Guide and participate in design, development, unit testing, and deployment of Boomi products and services including enhancements and/or resolution of any issues that may be reported
• Work independently with a minimal level of guidance from technical leadership
• Research, validate, and recommend technology decisions for new features
• Investigate and resolve complex customer issues
• Dissect and correct critical production issues as part of an on-call rotation

Essential Requirements

• 10+ years of Java 7 + experience developing/ programming
• Technical expertise in SQL, relational database systems, and ORM tools like Hibernate as well as in in Servlets and multi-threading programming
• Experience in Web Services technologies including REST, SOAP, and WSDL as well as using Linux/Unix environments and the ability to learn new tools, languages and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience
• Experience developing with and deploying development CI/CD tools, such as Ansible, Bamboo, and Jenkins
• Experience in mature development processes including use of source code control systems like Git

Desirable Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in the API integrations and/or connectors space
• Familiarity with highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems
