Job Description
Experience: 6 to 8 years
Required Skills:
Strong working knowledge in Linux or Windows environments/Infrastructure with application handling experience.
Strong knowledge and Hands on Experience in any two Scripting languages (Shell/Power Shell/Python/Perl/Groovy) is mandatory.
Strong knowledge on PL/SQL and good knowledge on Oracle database administration fundamentals is mandatory.Good Working Knowledge on any WebServer (preferred IBM WAS, Apache) Installation, Configurations and Deployments.Good Working Knowledge on any one deployment tool (Ansible preferred) and monitoring tool (Splunk preferred).
Excellent (written and verbal) communication skills and interpersonal skills are mandatory.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the complete lifecycle management (from planning to closure of the service) of different software configuration management applications (as per ITIL standard) in both Windows & Linux environment.
Continuously monitor and implement service improvement initiatives (Automate routine tasks, process improvements, etc) for value realization.
Collaborate with different service teams (internal & external) to ensure service availability as agreed with customer.
Provide technical solutions and alternatives, mentoring and supporting teams, handling team on need basis for service delivery and customer engagements.
Define, implement and optimize monitoring solutions for applications and underlying infrastructure.
