Job Description

Good written & Verbal communication skills.

• High level of Accuracy, Efficiency and Accountability for carrying out the Accounts Payable process

Ensure accounting of invoice & Credit notes (PO & Non PO) as per defined Service level Agreements

• Responsible of ensuring defined processes as per Central Directives followed before posting and releasing the invoice for payment
• Scan invoices through scan light ,Perform quality check on invoice image and re-scan if needed
• Cross check OCR data from an image of the vendor invoices & re-enter key data fields if required like invoice number, invoice date, invoice amount, purchase order number, etc.
• Initiate Workflows to correct users as per the type of invoice and amount mentioned on the invoice
• Assign proper error codes for the invoices that can’t be booked
• Monitor and resolve over-due documents with systematic escalation matrix and contacting Internal Business Partners
• Work on corrections with reversals and re-posting with clearing to Vendor accounts
• Ensuring to account and close open transactions to meet the timelines for Month and Year end closing.
• Complete end to end knowledge of accounts payable process.

Qualifications

Education Qualifications & Accreditation:

• Graduate/Postgraduate with B.com / BBM/ M.COM or MBA

Computer/ Systems Proficiency:

• MS Outlook
• MS Office
• SAP knowledge

Experience

• Experience in a Global Shared Services/Third party clients supported for Finance & Accounting
