The AEM Developer should have a solid understanding of web development processes from inception to deployment. This role will require excellent problem-solving skills and flexibility due to the changing needs of the business. This individual should be able to translate our customer needs into functional and appealing websites and aspire to combine usability and accessibility with visual designs. This role should be able to create a functional and attractive digital environment for our company, ensuring great user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze application requirements and provide recommended design to support the business

• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support

• Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse

• Integration of existing/new Web applications with backend databases (internal and external)

• Work in a collaborative coding environment with knowledge of CI pipelines, GIT, SVN and deployments

• Strong Technical writing skills for updating supporting documentation, Knowledgebase articles etc.

• Follow Agile development practices for project execution

• Provide technical support and training to appropriate stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate degree in the field of Information Technology or Computer Science from an accredited university

• 2+ years of experience implementing Adobe AEM and/or AEM as a Cloud Service.

• 3+ years software development experience

• 2+ years with J2EE programming experience required

• Hands on AEM and J2EE codding experience is must

• Experience with Full Stack AEM to include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or Angular.

• Required understanding of AEM building blocks, CRX repository, leveraging web content management components for customization and porting of websites.

• Experience in Workflow development and integrating AEM with other applications.

• Have a good understanding of AEM Mobile development concepts like server-side Mobile API, Mobile Components, Emulators, Device Groups, Device Detection and Mobile request processing and have a good understanding of implementing Social Collaboration within AEM.

• Experience building, deploying, and supporting Internet-facing applications

• Excellent estimation abilities in scoping work in a complex environment

• IT experience in Pharma or Biotech domain will be plus
