Educational Qualification

Graduation/ Post Graduation in Management (preferably)

Good understanding of warehouse processes and transportation

Experience

At least 6-9 years of experience in Logistics & Customer Servicing preferably with FMCG background.

Key Responsibilities

Secondary Freight Management

Responsible for Managing Secondary Transportation (Depot to Distributors) single handy on day to day basis.

Managing large number of transporters & high throughput warehouses.

Tracking Indenting, Route planning & selection of right truck type, clubbing of Distributor’s orders to get maximum utilization of trucks

Active participation in Secondary Transportation rate negotiation, vendor development.

Tracking Rs./Kg. cost & deliver savings on that.

Monitoring Vehicle Utilization on daily basis and driving 80% + utilization.

Tracking Performance metrics e.g. Indent Vs Placement, Truck Utilization, Transit Time Adherence, Shortage/ Damages Index,

Adherence of 2nd trip etc.

Warehouse Management & Customer Service

Monitoring & managing daily warehouse operations. C & F Management.

Monitoring of overheads at warehouses & detentions. Ensure lowest possible overheads & NIL detentions.

Ensure highest possible warehouse utilization, innovation through warehouse layout change (if necessary) to improve efficiencies.

Access existing warehouse capacity and align with existing throughput. Propose for corrections if any. Monitoring Depot Operational efficiencies to manage high throughput, fastest truck turnaround time, labour efficiencies etc.

Ensure & set up right practices across warehouse functions e.g. Unloading, Put away, Storage, Picking, Loading etc.

Set up systems for right documentations.

• Managing Demand Fulfillment for all channels i.e. MT, ACD, GT, CSD& Cross Promo customers
• Monitor obsolescence at Depots and trigger stakeholders to take necessary actions to avoid finished goods write off.
• Execute Depot SOPs and put in controls to ensure compliance. Ensure timely warehouse audits, pest controls etc.

Ensure highest of hygiene & safety standards across warehouses

• Driving &monitoring very high level of PDP compliances
• Driving 90% + Fill Rates for all SKUs.
• Driving & monitoring best practices across all warehouses in the region.
• Develop the C & F team under him for high level of performance
