Job Title: Lead – SAP Application Integration
Purpose of job:
Lead – SAP Application Integration is a crucial role in GIS to help support and manage integrations using SAP/other middleware and is responsible for the integration design and how the data flows between various systems and modules.
Working closely with our customers to deliver functional support, analysis, configuration/change and continuous improvement, lead consultant is responsible for ensuring that system integration functionality is available and current to meet the business needs across functions (like HR, FI etc.) using SAP applications/middleware’s.
Role context
Manage support, change and continuous improvement related to integrations associated with SAP Applications / Middleware like SuccessFactors (MyHR) or any other tool / applications.
Responsible for understanding existing integrated HR business processes and supporting system functionality. This position requires sound customer service, project management skills, system enhancement activities, end-user training and production support tasks. Manage SAP system/application configuration and development of new integration enhancements through test and system validation.
Main opportunities/challenges for this role
Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties:
Assist solution architect in the designing, implementation planning, fit analysis, testing rollout and post-implementation support of all integrations linked to SAP Applications like SuccessFactors EC rollout plus other associated applications.
Work alongside GIS with inputs from business team like MyHR/HRIS, to ensure the solutions proposed align with business requirements & existing system configuration.
Document all implementation plans and ensure the correct sign offs are taken.
Support with the handover to the Operations team as part of knowledge transfer and upskilling for new resources
Responsible for the Quality Assurance of the implementation design across SAP Application integration functionalities with SAP SuccessFactors, Recruitment, Learning Management System, C4C etc.
Will be responsible for implementation data flow between SAP Applications like SAP SuccessFactors – EC and other business applications/systems
Will work closely to integrate the various SAP modules
Should have functional understanding of components around HR/other functions for better alignment of integration across different systems
Qualifications
Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline.
Role specific knowledge and experience
Experience of managing small technically oriented teams.
Good Communication skills.
Experience of working in a complex, global organisation.
Broad knowledge of operational FI/HR processes.
Knowledge of integration platforms
Technical experience with implementation knowledge in relevant work areas (Integrations of SAP systems)
Should have experience on web services and API’s. Should have an experience on SuccessFactors Integration Center to build, deploy, and monitor simple file-based integrations to third parties.
Experience to build and support integrations using SAP middleware like CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), PO (Process Orchestration) etc.
Experience of operationally supporting core HRIS, learning management and e-recruitment systems.
Experience of supporting and/or implementing SaaS HR systems (ideally SAP SuccessFactors)
