Job Title: Manager Risk & Compliance
Purpose of job:
Business Assurance is responsible for Audit, Risk, Compliance, Counter Fraud and Code of Conduct in addition to the other workstreams such as Information Security, Cyber Security and Business Continuity at the SSC. The current position will be responsible and working on the initial 5 workstreams as mentioned above (highlighted as underlined text) and act as a 2nd line of defence from an overall assurance perspective
The main priorities of the post are
To provide effective support to the Business Assurance Manager on Audit, Risk, Compliance, Counter Fraud and CoC management at SSC and to ensure that the defined processes under these workstreams are operating effectively.
To communicate effectively within SSC with relevant stakeholders/ department SPoC on the work related above listed workstreams
To manage all tools and trackers used for effective operations of the above listed workstreams.
Role context
Reporting to Head Business Assurance, the Manager Business Assurance will be responsible for coordinating, managing all operational activities relating to the stated workstreams and implementing risk and control assurance of internal business processes in delivery functions and support function of the organisation.

The Manager Business Assurance is responsible for supporting the following initiatives:
Audit / Control Assurance
Manage internal audit for SSC (end-to-end)
Create, maintain, coordinate and conduct in-house process audits/ management audits, financial audits from compliance and fraud perspective as planned.
Prepare and share audit reports with the Manager Business Assurance as per the annual audit plan.
Ensuring all observations raised in audits are provided with adequate corrective actions with defined timelines and are closed within those timelines.
Attending meetings with auditees to develop an understanding of business processes
Providing ad hoc advice and guidance on Internal controls, as subject matter expertise
Performing risk assessments on key business activities and using this information to guide what should be covered in audits
Anticipating emerging issues through research and interviews/interactions and deciding how best to deal with them
Supporting and facilitation of external audits for the organisation.
Develop/ support /provide consultancy and implement appropriate process management controls in delivery functions.
Risk Management
Supporting the SSC Risk Champion/ Manager Business Assurance in planning, designing and implementing an overall risk management process and procedures for SSC;
Managing the existing risk management process in line with the Global guidelines;
Closely working with Risk SPoCs of different departments at SSC.
Conduct risk assessments for all delivery and support functions at SSC.
Providing support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organisation.
Providing consulting support being the subject matter expert (SME) for risk management.
Compliance management
Conduct Compliance audits on a regular basis on the list of defined Statutory/ Regulatory compliances and Internal Compliances/ Controls.
Prepare compliance audit reports and share the same with Manager Business Assurance.
Manage compliances on the Complinity tool.
Counter Fraud management
Shall support in all Counter Fraud related work as and when required
Code of Conduct management
Shall support in all Counter Fraud related work as and when required
Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Graduate (preferably Finance Graduate)
Desirable:
CRISP (Certified Risk Professional) / ISO 31000 /
CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner)
MBA/CA
Role specific knowledge and experience
Expert in Audit Management and in conducting Internal Audits
Expert in ERM
Expert in Compliance Management
Expert in Counter Fraud management
Experience in a similar role in F&A / IT/ Shared Services industry .
Big 4 experience is preferable.
