Job Title: Senior Manager Presales Solutions & Business Transformation
Purpose of job:
To help support the British Council’s Shared Services agenda
To deliver value, broadly in the following areas:
Pre sales and solutions for new Shared Services – work with internal customers to prepare a holistic solution for their shared services requirements along with transformation roadmap of new business opportunities planned to be delivered through shared services.
Drive transformation through current SS process – Work with current delivery owners and manage the overall business transformation agenda for BAU processes and drive technology/tools implementations as per the business roadmap. For e.g an overall strategy to drive standardisation in our front desk/service desk operations on account of common omni channel platform with consistent channel experience and reporting, common strategy to bring in chatbots, self serve experience across our deliveries
Experience areas:
Must have Senior/Expert Level of experience in SSC Operations / Pre-Sales / SSC Practice Consulting within Shared Services domain at reputed technology or consulting organisations.
Knowledge of:
Experience in Pre Sales and Solutioning for transformation teams in Shared Services
Solutioning experience for BPO opportunities
Understanding of process operating models and business case creations
Expertise in business process tools and tech enabled solutions such as RPA, chatbot, analytics, self serve enhancement, Customer experience management
Experience of working in consulting organization on shared services
Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties:

Presales and Solutions : Transformation
Has a sound understanding of Shared Services environment from an operations / consulting perspective.
Has expérience in Shared Services solutions and technology/tools deployed across horizontal functions such as HR, Procurement, Customer Services and/or business processes
Highly conversant in tech enabled solution/techniques for business processes such as RPA, Analytics, Chatbots, AI, automation, customer experience management etc.
Is able to develop new age solution options for stakeholders and communicate value proposition of delivering through shared services
Deliver presentations, conduct research and competitive analysis associated with new shared services opportunities
Has acquired skills and developed tools for faster development and delivery of solutions to relevant stakeholders
Is willing to educate and operate in a consultative manner with stakeholders and is keen to host/ manage key visits of stakeholders
Is open and willing to operate as an individual contributor and an exceptional team player
BAU transformation management
Help develop transformation roadmap ( technology and process led) for delivery functions. E.g best practices for front desk operations from tools/technology perspective on self serve, customer experience etc.
Overall accountability of the implementation of the roadmap
Facilitate collaboration of different project teams – automation, six sigma, analytics to deliver the transformation strategy
