Key Purpose of the Role:

Software Design & development in datawarehousing using Oracle 10/11g PL/SQL, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Python.

Principal Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Interaction with key stake holders and business. Understand and translate business requirements into data models.

• Understand High level/ e2e design document in DMS area for BnPS.

• Write Low level design document in DMS area for BnPS.

• Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies and build data flows in existing Datawarehouse or GCP.

• Create or update conceptual, logical and physical data models using best practices and according to company standards.

• Work in DevOps environment for Continuous Delivery

• Participate in integration of components and bug fixing

• Provide 3rd line support during live issues

• Might have to play the role of Scrum Master in Agile projects.

• Expected to coach / mentor and guide Team members.

• Acts as lead change agent with ability to channel resources effectively internally developing best practices.

• Should drive improvement programs in the DMS area.

Person Specification:

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience in DW applications – in ETL, Database PL/SQL development, OWB, ODI, OBI Development.

• Experience in Design of DWH implementation.

• Experince in Oracle Query performance, Scalability and Reliability.

• Working experience in Data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Python scripting

• Innovate and create solutions to very complex problems and new business initiatives

• Experience in Devops tools like Puppet, Ansible with experience in GIT & GIT CI/CD.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
