We want to hire a skilled Shipping Manager to join our Logistics Department.As a Shipping Manager, you will be responsible to manage day-to-day shipments and ensuring that they are delivered in a timely manner.You should have detailed knowledge about the shipping processes. You must be well-organized, analytical, and excellent in communication. In addition to this, you should be comfortable with information systems, documentation and have a better understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.The objective here is to make sure that the shipping and distribution processes run effectively and smoothly. You will lead our shipping department and guarantee the smooth functioning of our business.If you feel you are suitable for this role, we would like to meet you.Responsibilities1. Use software to check, track, route, and prioritize orders2. Manage all the crucial documents such as bills of shipping, pick slips, shipping notices, etc.3. Direct the flow of shipments from packaging to shipment4. Oversee and lead the subordinate staff5. Check the labels, bar-codes along with other things of completed orders6. Control the budget of the entire logistics department7. Work as a team player in purchasing, warehouse, and other managers to optimize different processes8. Resolve issues related to the shipped orders9. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations10. Report to higher management on issues and other risky activitiesRequirements1. Candidates having graduate diploma with desired experience are considered2. Extensive know-how of logistics operations3. Experience in directing, as well as, evaluating subordinates4. Computer knowledge with a good understanding of reporting and budgeting5. Outstanding communication and organizational skills6. Attention to detail and amazing problem-solving skills
