Key Responsibilities

As a Structural Designer, you will:

• Work on 3D Modeling and 2D drafting of foundations and steel,

general arrangement drawings using tools like REVIT (Structural),

and AutoCAD to produce construction deliverables in 2D

format like –

o Foundation detail drawings (piles, spread footing, etc.)

o Foundation plans and elevations

o Foundation sections and details

o Steel detail drawings

o Steel plans, elevations and sections

o Road’s layout and details

o Site grading and drains

o Location layout and key plan

o Bill of Quantities (BOQ) / Material Take-offs (MTOs)

o Underground pits

o Stairs and Ladders

• Coordinate assigned scope of work with other disciplines to generate

a clash free design

General Requirements

Our ideal Structural Designer will have:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI Civil Draftsman

• Minimump 7 years of experience in industrial/commercial design

drafting, development of general arrangement drawings, foundation and

steel layouts, foundation detail drawings, steel connection drawing,

modeling of steel and foundations

• Ability to lead a team of designers and guide them and train them on

various drafting software

• Diagrammatic skills, 3D conceptual skills

• Working knowledge of international codes and standards (AISC, ACI,

PIP etc.) used in Food and Consumer Industry, Manufacturing,

Industrial and Commercial projects

• Willing to advance in career by taking increased engineering design

responsibilities by closely working with discipline lead engineer

• Commitment and collaborative-minded individual with the ability to work

on own initiative

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good Communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to self-check

and produce accurate work

Key Skills: Structural/CIVIL designer, CIVIL draftsman

Tools

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the following tools:

• 3D Tools: TEKLA.

• Knowledge of REVIT (Structural) is a plus.

• 2D Tools: AutoCAD and MicroStation

• CIVIL 3D

• Coordination Tools: Navisworks, SPR

• Microsoft Office Tools – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point,

Outlook, OneNote
