We are looking for Sr.Officer (Production Planning Department) for a US MNC based at Mumbai.

Job Description:
Responsible for implementation of the company’s production control functions including master scheduling, production planning/coordination, shopfloor scheduling, and dispatch

Implements, and approves items such as material requirements, planning systems, work-in-process tracking, material and labor variance controls, and manufacturing performance reporting

Responsible for planning, reviewing, and developing production procedures and personnel.

Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.

Provides input to management, reschedules, and/or interfaces with sales, production to reschedule in case of labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.

Generation of production plans based on capacity, materials, and manpower

Responsible for performing various tasks for production control & support by keeping inventory records & preparing production schedule.

Ensuring on time production compliance by proper co-ordination and control

Estimates and records production rates, (Input Processing & Output) & to prepare Mfg. orders against customer order backlog.

To maintain inventory at planned levels.

SAP knowledge is preferred

Responsible for reviewing schedules to determine materials and part requirements & ensure materials according to schedule.

Material call-off & follow-up with suppliers

Provide inputs to the management and/ or interface with various departments for effective scheduling (warehouse, purchase, production, quality & engineering)
