Job Title: Cacao Artisan

This is an exciting opportunity to join Naviluna as a skilled Cacao Artisan. In this role, you will learn the art and science of crafting high-quality chocolate from bean to bar.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with cacao and a commitment to delivering exceptional products. You will work closely with our team to ensure that every step of the chocolate-making process meets the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Learn manual techniques and handle machinery for chocolate production
• Conduct cacao quality testing
• Test product quality
• Participate in on-the-job palate training
• Study the science of craft chocolate
• Prepare inclusions and garnishes manually
• Produce chocolate couverture
• Temper large batches of chocolate
• Create chocolate bars and bon-bons
• Bake cakes, pastries, and sourdough bread

Work Environment:
This role involves physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy weights. You must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a collaborative and communicative attitude towards your colleagues. Basic maths and chemistry skills are required.

Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 per annum
