Cadence Design Systems, Inc. Hiring for Sr Principal Analog Design Engineer at Bangalore, India Full Time

Work experience requirements:

• 10 to 15 years of experience in designing high performance analog and mixed signal circuits and systems. Technical leadership experience in successful execution of high-performance analog/mixed signal systems in a global design environment.

• Deep working knowledge in the design of high speed SerDes, Data converters, Power management circuits, clock synthesis, basic analog building blocks.

• Deep understanding in concepts of digital communication, semiconductor devices, control systems, signal processing and signal analysis, silicon validation and debug. Exposure to concepts of radiation hardening of electrical circuits is a plus.

• Knowledge of concepts such as ESD, Latch up in CMOS circuits, layout parasitic effects on circuit performance, signal and power integrity issues in high speed circuits.

• Responsibilities:

• Own and execute complex analog/mixed signal circuits and systems in deep sub-micron process technologies.

• Work with global, multi-disciplinary teams to ensure design/IP success in silicon

• Provide technical supervision, mentorship and guidance to a team of junior circuit designer engineers

• Provide leadership in various aspects of IC design including architecture development, circuit design, layout development, post layout optimization etc.

• Generate project schedules, man power estimates, project timelines, project status reports, block and system level collaterals such as simulation plans, electrical specifications, interface requirements, reliability metrics.

• Oversee project execution phase, strive to meet all aspects of project deliverables. Provide timely updates to design and management team with appropriate and complete methods of communication.

Qualifications:

• MS of PhD in the areas of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

• Track record of innovation, successful project execution all the way to silicon validation.

• Experience in leading design teams in IP creation, integration into larger systems on chip.

• Experience in the use of Cadence design automation tools (or equivalent) for schematic generation, circuit simulation, layout design, post layout extraction, reliability simulation and analysis, behavioral modeling, system modeling and analysis.

• Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to interact with global design and management teams.
