This position is for a Middleware support responsible for service operations and project support for a broad portfolio
This includes systems supporting Manufacturing Plant Floor Commercial Applications Enterprise Resource Planning Line of Business and Product Development
The operational aspects of this position entail delivery of services and stable operations and excellent service to business users and IT functions globally

Responsibilities
1 Configuration monitoring support and tuning of multiple middleware application and third party packaged middleware applications such as IIS and Apache server WebLogic Application Server and J2EE in Unix and windows platform
2 Work closely with configuration management and development teams on deployment to various environments i e dev QA Production and on troubleshooting activities
3 Candidate must be able to participate in project planning attend strategy and design meetings provide technical insight and collect technical requirements to design effective middleware service architecture
4 Monitor the application systems for issues with disk space CPU usage memory problems or other issues that may impact the various environments
5 Organizes and documents the backup and recovery processes for applications as needed
6 Installation Configuration of SSL in all middleware application
7 24×7 Production support when in on call rotation
8 Management mentorship and training of other team members
9 Work on corporate projects to ensure proper scaling and platform architectures to support initiatives On call position

Primary Optional good to have skills
1 Knowledge and experience with UNIX and Windows OS is a MUST
2 Java based application management experience i e Jboss Tomcat Sap Hybris or other Java application servers
3 Strong UNIX command line skills i e BASH ksh
4 Commonly uses scripts to automate redundant tasks
5 Basic PERL or related scripting skills
6 Diversified experience managing UNIX enterprise applications
7 Familiarity with Java and JVM based technologies
8 Working knowledge of load balancing concepts
9 Demonstrated self starter that works assigned projects to completion
10 Basic Knowledge on oracle DB2 database
11 CA Wily Introscope any one application monitoring tool Minimum 4 6 years of Middleware Administration

Candidate requires in depth understanding of the associated business processes business rules and intended changes
Need to support in a 24 7 Support Environment
